Canine Partners for Life is continuously monitoring the spread of COVID-19. We are following guidelines issued by our Governor, the Centers for Disease Control, the Pennsylvania Department of Health, and the Chester County Health Department. Following Governor Tom Wolf’s announcement this afternoon, Monday, March 30, CPL will remain closed until at least April 30.

All of our dogs in training, including the dogs currently living in our kennel, are safe in volunteer homes. If you are currently housing one of our kennel dogs, you will be contacted by a CPL staff member to discuss the extended closure. CPL staff is caring for breeder mom, Tessa, and her 6 healthy puppies. We are limiting the number of employees caring for the litter to help prevent spread/exposure of the virus. Staff will continue to care for mom and puppies for the next several weeks.

Please be assured, CPL’s operations are ongoing and the important work of supporting our current graduates and the training of the puppies and dogs is continuing. We encourage you to follow CPL on social media to stay informed of updates.

We truly appreciate your continued support during this challenging time.

Sincerely,

Janie Cramer
