The world premiere of Letting Go of Adele at the Cleveland International Film Festival was a tremendous success! The film was shown three times to packed theaters. The festival even opened a second theater on opening night because demand for the film was so high! But the excitement doesn’t stop in Cleveland.

Letting Go of Adele was accepted into the Independent Film Festival Boston and will be screened on Sunday, April 30, at 4:30pm in Somerville, MA! The film will be shown at the Somerville Theatre which seats 900 people!

Darlene Sullivan, Executive Director and Founder of CPL, will attend the screening and participate in a Q&A after the film with Melissa Dowler, the Director, and Marty, the star of the film. You can purchase tickets for this screening at lgoa.co/iffbostontickets.

Letting Go of Adele, a documentary by Long Haul Films, features the story of Marty and Adele, the very first cardiac alert team to graduate from Canine Partners for Life. Adele saved Marty’s life, every day, for nine years. This film follows their partnership, retirement, and what happens when Marty has to find a new partner to take over the job of protecting her heart.
