Event Photography and Video Permission and Usage

Canine Partners for Life (CPL) reserves the right to use any photograph/video taken at any event that relates to or benefits CPL without the expressed written permission of those included within the photograph/video. CPL may use the photograph/video in publications or other media material produced, used, or contracted by CPL including but not limited to: brochures, invitations, social media, websites, etc.

To ensure the privacy of individuals and children, images will not be identified using full names or personal identifying information without written approval from the photographed subject, parent, or legal guardian.

A person attending a CPL event who does not wish to have their image used by CPL should make their wishes known in writing to CPL’s Associate Director of Marketing and Communications, Tonya Guy, at Canine Partners for Life, PO Box 170, Cochranville, PA 19330 or via email to tguy@k94life.org. An identifying photograph should be included with the correspondence. The photograph will not be shared but will be retained confidentially and used for identification purposes only. The correspondence and photo must be received by CPL within 2 (two) business days of the completion of the event.

By attending a CPL event or by failing to notify CPL in writing of your desire not to have your photograph used, you are agreeing to release, defend, hold harmless, and indemnify CPL, its directors, officers, employees and agents, and their respective successors, assigns, estates and heirs, from any and all claims involving the use of your photo or likeness.

Individuals, groups or organizations not affiliated with CPL may not use, copy, alter, or modify CPL photographs, graphics, videography, or other similar reproductions or recordings without the advance written permission of an authorized designee from CPL.
