International Assistance Dog Week runs from August 1, 2021 to August 7, 2021. This is a special week that was created to recognize the heroic deeds performed by assistance dogs, which alleviate disability related limitations and increase independence. It is also important to use this week to honor the puppy raisers and trainers that prepare each assistance dog for their future role. Here at CPL, we hope to spread more awareness this week about our program and the assistance dog industry as a whole, so keep an eye on our social media pages to learn more about our program, our trainers, and our graduates.

To help everyone participate in this important week, we have created an online scavenger hunt to introduce you to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Assistance Dogs International (ADI) and CPL. Please click on the link below to download the scavenger hunt. Once completed, email your document to Jordan Borkland, Marketing and Events Coordinator, at jborkland@k94life.org, by Monday, August 9 and you will be entered to win a CPL t-shirt! We hope the scavenger hunt provides you with an opportunity to learn more about the assistance dog industry. Have fun and happy International Assistance Dog Week!
