While the school year is coming to an end for human students, our service dogs in training are just gearing up for their summer semester at college, a.k.a. CPL’s kennel. College can be expensive, with tuition, books, room and board, supplies, and everything else that comes with a good education. It is the same for CPL dogs in training. They need food, water, a good teacher and coaches, play time, supplies, a place to play, a place to study, and a place to rest.
Like many colleges and universities, Canine Partners for Life is a nonprofit organization that receives no government funding, which means we must fundraise to support our service and companion dog teams, dogs in training, and all other aspects of our program. If you make a contribution in the month of June to support our 2019 Summer Semester at CPL, you will receive an exclusive donor experience or gift!
Donor Experiences and Gifts
Make a donation during the timeframes listed below to receive an exclusive 2019 Summer Semester donor experience or gift. You will receive specific instructions and details in an email following your donation.
Can I receive multiple donor experiences? Yes! You may donate once each week to receive all four experiences! (One experience per donor per week.)
Week 1 (6/1 – 6/9): An exclusive opportunity to visit with Stephie’s litter of nine puppies who are just three and a half weeks old! Choose one of three visiting opportunities including the morning of Saturday, June 8, the afternoon of Sunday, June 9, or the evening of Tuesday, June 11. Specific times and details will be listed in the email following your donation. RSVP required!
Week 2 (6/10 – 6/16): One pack of limited edition notecards featuring CPL puppies and dogs in training. While supplies last! (set includes 4 blank notecards and envelopes)
Week 3 (6/17 – 6/23): Your choice of an exclusive CPL experience in July including a Team Training field trip, lunch with the Executive Director, or a puppy class visit.
Week 4 (6/24 – 6/30): Submit a puppy name for a vote among all 2019 Summer Semester donors. The name with the most votes will be assigned to a future CPL puppy.
