Host A Fundraiser!

Thank you for your interest in raising funds to support Canine Partners for Life (CPL)! We are deeply grateful for the generous support of our friends in the community who share our commitment to our mission and goals. This document provides you with tips and guidelines to ensure your event is carried out appropriately, safely, and successfully. We are pleased to be the beneficiary of your fundraising event! Below are some of the frequently asked questions in regards to planning your fundraiser for Canine Partners for Life. CPL is here to help you! What is Host A Fundraiser?

Host A Fundraiser is any fundraising activity by a non-affiliated group, organization, or individual who wishes to raise money through a planned activity that is designed, managed, and financially resourced by the external participants. 

Who can conduct a fundraiser on behalf of CPL?

Any non-affiliated individual or group can host an independent fundraising event to support Canine Partners for Life. For example, these can be volunteers, schools, families, churches, community service groups, and/or businesses. 

Where will my donation go?

CPL is funded entirely by donations and your contribution will be used towards CPL’s general operating expenses. The cost to raise, train, and provide lifetime support for a CPL service dog exceeds $32,000. CPL dogs and services are offered at no cost, we ask only that our recipients support the organization in a way that is meaningful to them.

How can Canine Partners for Life help me?

CPL would love to help you! Below are some ways we can offer our support.

  • Promote your event on our website
  • Promote your event on our social media pages
  • Promote your event in our digital newsletters
  • Provide you with direct support from our Events Coordinator when you have questions while planning your event
  • Have a CPL representative and service dog or service dog in training at your event (advanced notice and approval required)
