Cindy and Sugar
Cindy returned to CPL for a successor dog when her longtime CPL service dog Monty let her know it was time for him to retire. Cindy’s life had truly been transformed by Monty and she had known a freedom and level of safety with him by her side that she needed to live her life and advance in her career. She knew without question she wanted another service dog.
She was thrilled to be partnered with Sugar, a large and very sturdy dog. Cindy is an innately talented dog trainer. She knows when she needs to be firm and when it is time to be playful. With Sugar, she has a dog who loves to work and Sugar has a mom who is super creative and will put those skills to use in a million ways. Life is going to be a wonderful adventure for these two.
