Keri, David’s mom, shared that he always seems to come out of his shell and talk more when animals are around. Caicos was partnered with David because she was a calm dog that adored being with children. The two have now developed a deep and loving relationship. Keri says that for a little boy who was never supposed to talk – it’s music to her ears to hear him call for his dog. Caicos walks David down the drive to his bus and is disappointed on days when it rains and she can’t go with him. These two bring each other so much fun and happiness – each giving 100% to this partnership.
