Francesca and Flipper

CPL favicon

When Francesca’s parents heard that dogs can sometimes alert to seizures, they realized that a home companion dog might be able to fill multiple needs for their daughter. In addition to hoping that her dog would alert to her seizures, Francesca wanted a dog who would enjoy being hugged and most importantly, who liked to be read to. Flipper, a loveable labradoodle was a perfect match. We had seen him alert to seizures, he loved hugs (which is why a huge number of the people at the prison where he was raised wanted to keep him) and he certainly would enjoy being read to as he loved all the interaction he could get. We understand he is now a very ‘well-read’ dog indeed.
