Jon and Peco
Jon’s mother commented in the application that “Jon seeks out the dogs in our neighborhood first, before any other person, as a playmate.” With this in mind, it made sense that a home companion dog would be a wonderful partner for this young man – to help him see the importance of relationships, to increase his vocabulary, and to give him new and fun sensory experiences to promote positive behavior at home. The placement with Peco is perfect. For those of us at CPL, it is very rewarding, and exciting, to see their relationship blossom and grow.
