Kennel Assistant

Canine Partners for Life seeks a part time (16–24 hours per week) kennel assistant. Candidates should have the ability to organize and prioritize a variety of tasks in a busy environment. Experience in the care and management of dogs is preferred but not required. The hours for this position vary and will include some weekends and holidays as needed. Maintenance Technician

Canine Partners for Life seeks an individual to assist with a wide range of responsibilities associated with the overall care of our facilities. Duties include preventative maintenance tasks, ensuring and supporting safety protocols, and performing general repairs. Mowing and some snow removal may also be included with this position. An ideal candidate is a self-starter who has excellent problem-solving skills, can handle multiple tasks and priorities and has effective written and verbal communication. Experience in carpentry, electrical work, and/or plumbing would be an added benefit. This is a part-time position although the ability to work a flexible schedule is essential. Outreach and Volunteer Coordinator

Canine Partners for Life seeks a FT (40 hours/week) Outreach and Volunteer Coordinator. This position is responsible for the recruitment, training, management, and appreciation efforts for more than 500 volunteers. Additional responsibilities include researching, initiating and organizing opportunities for public speaking engagements, demonstrations and information tables across the country.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are required. Experience with volunteer management is preferred. Candidate must be comfortable with public speaking before small and large audiences. Program and Whelping Coordinator

Canine Partners for Life seeks an individual to assist with a wide range of responsibilities associated with the care and training of our puppies. Candidates should have experience in dog handling and training. Experience with class instruction preferred. Knowledge and experience with whelping and weaning puppies or experience in a veterinary or medical field is preferred. Good organizational and administrative skills, professional communication skills and the ability to work a flexible schedule are essential.
