Development Assistant
Canine Partners for Life is seeking an organized, self-motivated and energetic individual to join our Development Team. We are looking for a positive team player with demonstrated prior experience in database administration (Raiser’s Edge NXT preferred), event support and donor relationships. The Development Assistant supports the Development Team, providing administrative and database management support the department in the areas of constituency management, gift reporting, prospect identification, cultivation, solicitation, donor recognition and tracking. Good organizational and administrative skills, attention to detail, and professional communication skills are essential.

Marketing and Events Coordinator
Canine Partners for Life is seeking a qualified individual to fill the full time (32–40 hours/week) position of Marketing and Events Coordinator. This position is responsible for the planning and management of all events held in support of the organization’s mission. This role is also responsible for the execution of the organization’s marketing projects and communications.
Experience in public speaking, marketing and event planning is essential. Candidates should have excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as the ability to prioritize work and adapt easily to changing priorities. A flexible schedule is necessary as responsibilities include some weekend and evening hours. A college degree is required.

Director of Canine Behavior and Training
Canine Partners for Life (CPL) is seeking an experienced dog training professional. This individual should have experience with instituting positive training techniques as well as extensive knowledge of managing and directing dog behaviors. This is a supervisory position that is an integral member of the CPL leadership team. Previous employment in a professional environment and demonstrating skills in personnel management is essential. The aptitude to build rapport and establish effective working relationships with coworkers, clients, volunteers and the community is critical to the success of working in this position.
Duties include a variety of tasks with responsibilities and priorities changing daily, so having the ability to adapt and redirect focus is important. The Director of Canine Behavior and Training must have a college degree in Animal Behavior, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Technology, Kennel Management or a closely related field. The ability to gain clearance to state prison facilities is required in order to facilitate CPL’s prison puppy raising program.

Program and Whelping Coordinator
Canine Partners for Life is seeking an individual to assist with a wide range of responsibilities associated with the care and training of our puppies. Candidates should have experience in dog handling and training. Experience with class instruction preferred. Knowledge and experience with whelping and weaning puppies or experience in a veterinary or medical field is preferred. Good organizational and administrative skills, professional communication skills and the ability to work a flexible schedule are essential. Part time – 20 hours per week.
